2022 Finished Home Industry Development Status and Prospect Analysis

Finished home furnishing is one of the industries with the highest marketization and the most fierce market competition. At present, my country's finished home furnishing market is dominated by small and medium-sized enterprises due to low entry barriers. According to statistics, the total number of building materials and home furnishing companies in my country is about 520,000, of which 67.5% have assets below 50 million yuan, and those finished home furnishings over 100 million yuan account for only 8.5%.

Finished furniture is currently the favorite of many renters. The price and appearance of this kind of furniture are very attractive. Whether it is in a physical store or online, you can search for it in a variety of styles.

The post-90s and even post-00s groups are gradually becoming the core consumer groups for finished home furnishings. The pursuit of quality of life by new consumer groups has brought about a change in new consumption concepts, that is, from a disorderly single-channel market that requires a lot of compromises, finished home furnishings Move closer to integrated scene-based products and services. After the finished home furnishing industry entered the era of whole-house customization, the demand for customization of other cabinets has grown rapidly, and the demand for customization has extended to the whole house, including custom furniture such as bookcases, wine cabinets, sideboards, finished home tatami, bay window cabinets, and finished homes. Can make good use of space, the market opens quickly. Research shows that the penetration rate of other cabinets is currently about half of that of customized wardrobes, about 15%. The finished homes are calculated at 4,000 yuan per cabinet, and the demand for each household starts at 3 sets. The finished home market has reached 27.9 billion. The penetration rate of other customized furniture is expected to increase rapidly, and the degree of customization is also rising, which will bring about a continuous increase in the demand for the customized furniture industry.

After more than 30 years of rapid development, Shuanghu has established three production bases in Chengdu, Suqian, Jiangsu, and Puyang, Henan, with a total area of more than 2,000 acres. It is a "tiger" in the entire southwestern finished furniture industry in my country. In recent years, Shuanghu has also sensed that customization is the market trend, so it announced that the brand will gradually realize the strategic transformation of customization + finished products, and lead this "tiger" into the customization track.

Even though the demand for expensive finished furniture is down, the base plate of demand is still there. There may not be a need for too many finished furniture companies, but finished furniture has an ever-present market demand as a high-quality furniture category. What is happening in the furniture industry is a massive re-marketing, with new demands being identified by keen companies and excess supply being eliminated.
